    Our offense

Sucks. Besides the loss to Toledo where we scored 35. We are averaging 15.2 points per game. That's really bad. The Toledo game was the only game we scored over 17.

Teams are scoing 28.8 points per game against us. 2 TD difference in scores there gentlemen and ladies of Cyclone Nation. Not good. I honestly believe we are headed in the right direction on the defensive side, we just don't have all the players yet.

But there really isn't any excuse for how poorly are offense is. We have Scales and Bass at RB, both are upgrades from Stevie Hicks last year. The O-line is blocking much better than last years. We have a senior QB, senior stud WR who by all means should be playing on sundays next year, along with many more than capable receivers, as well as a good TE. So...Where the hell are the points???? There is just no excuse for our lack of O.

A lot of people thought our offense underperformed greatly last year. but we were still scoring 22.3 points a game at this point compared to 15.2...

It's just sad to watch some great seniors' year go to waste...And I like Meyer (I don't LOVE him), but MAYBE it's time to start thinking about preparing our players for next year and get them on the field. We need to shake SOMETHING up.

    Defense played pretty well tonight.

    Offense was pathetic.

    Re: Our offense

It's kind of amazing that this offense has one of the best offensive weapons in school history, some highly touted running backs, and a QB that everyone raved about as a freshman.

    Re: Our offense

The offense starts and ends with Meyer, and he is just not getting things done. He is not throwing enough good passes and is locking in on receivers, and still getting sacked when he should be throwing the ball away. The OL really stunk it up tonight, giving up against a 3 man rush is crazy, and it happened at least twice.

    Re: Our offense

I saw Liberty dropped 30 on Toledo tonight in the Glass Bowl and lost by one. Pretty much says it all about where we stand.

Harrell was 36 for 43 for 425 yards and four touchdowns. I know he always puts up gawdy numbers, but I would say we still have a long ways to go on Defense. That completion percentage is unreal and shows that our D-line wasn't getting any pressure on him.

    Re: Our offense

Maybe just overall our team is average? I mean, TT did score 42... can't say offense is completely to blame for 42 points...

    Re: Our offense

He is locking on receivers. Shame shame. No pump fakes. He needs to do the little things better to raise team level. We need a burner who can break free. What happened to Wallace Franklin?

    Re: Our offense

We return only 3 starters from last year's offense that finished 11th in the league.

I guess our current rank of 12th in the league in offense shouldn't come as too big of a surprise.

Completely....no. 90%.....yes. 3 and outs, not moving the ball at all, always great field position for other teams. Defenses can't play on a short field all game and expect to be A ok.

Well the thing that scares me is if Meyer is really the best QB ISU has, next year is not going to be any better. MY OPINION is that Meyer has cost ISU 3 games this year, with mistakes. I would like to see someone else get a chance to play a complete game, Meyer has gotten his chance with the new system and he is getting worse. The one game ISU won, Meyer didn't loose the game but at the same time he didn't win the game, he just didn't turn the ball over like the others.

Sorry if sounds like a meyer bashing, but it is getting old and I would like to see someone else get a chance.

Next year we lose Ace Bowen who just made 12.5 tackles against TT. He will have to be replaced also.
