Win, and stayed tied for first.

I know, it sounds silly to read that. But it would be true.

Balanced asterisks, and capitalized words. Thread checks out.

    Carry on.

I love that they have a small line up and can't go big but we have a small line up and can go big.

My question: Why didn't Lafester play more during his first three seasons? Guy was smooth!

I don't have a good answer for this. I remember when he didn't play much, but I didn't realize he played so little until his 3rd/4th year. Revisionist history in my brain.

Someone else who truly knows should answer, rather than me. He seemed erratic and a little one-dimensional he could shoot, but may not have had other tools (such as playing defense, rebounding, etc.). He became a little more well-rounded, and plenty of other players were there by then to fill in the gaps.

I don't recall the opponent, but he got garbage minutes in a game at Hilton his freshman year. We're talking less than 4 minutes (he came off the bench along with, I think, Wes Wallace and Eli Parker). He shot every time he touched it, and finished in double figures.

I still didn't answer your question.

I think you probably came close. He was instant offense off the bench, but I seem to recall that he wasn't doing as well at other things.

I have a feeling the Cyclones are going to play their best, most complete game of the year and win by 9!

I remember we used to call him "point a minute" because he would come in and immediately score. A few times he didn't come in until 3-4 minutes left and he'd end up in double figures. I don't know why he didn't play more those first two or three years. It couldn't have been because of defense or rebounding -- none of Johnny's teams did those things!
