Watching Okie State/OU.... we'll sweep em both...

    These teams are not good.

Not to mention, OSU has an empty gym for Bedlam...

You're going to have trouble in Stillwater. And it won't be a rout, but yeah we're not going to win a single road game this year....

OSU is also down to 8 players, not including walk-ons. So depth will definitely be an issue down the stretch.

Re: Watching Okie State/OU.... we'll sweep em both...

Lack of depth really turns up in conference play--something ISU is all to familiar with from a couple years ago. A short bench can typically beat Central Midwest Tech. But you need people to throw out there once conference begins.

Having 7 or 8 guys really puts you behind the eight ball and ratchets the pressure up on the guys you have left.

If you have 10 or 11 scholarship players, maybe they aren't all good enough to have an impact in Big 12 play, but at least you have bodies to throw at conference teams.

If you only have 7 guys and one gets injured or another gets in foul trouble you can find yourself stuck with walk ons for large portions of a conference game, which is not a good place to be.

Wouldn't be surprised if ISU struggled in Stillwater. Haven't played the greatest away this year (except A&M).

Who have we played? Drake and Michigan? Hardly a sample size.

Road conference games are always tough (ok, after Saturday that obviously isn't true. But most of the time), but the Big 12's bottom tier (OU, oSu, aTm, TT) are all pretty awful right now. Can't lose to any of them at home if we're serious about making the Dance. We've already beat one at their place, and the other three are games we probably should win. And I respect GIA, but it ain't what it used to be.

I still don't understand how we lost that one. Weren't we up like 10 with a minute to go?

I wish Page would just graduate already...

I have seen nothing but highlights of him this year, but Page reminds me a lot of Jake Sullivan; an unlikely looking pure shooter who had success as an underclassman, but was asked to do too much as an upperclassman.

And of course they are both pasty white.
