    RPI and RPI

It's still early in the season so rpi, of whatever source, is still lmited. Even so,it's interesting and has some value. RealTime has us at 70 - OSU at 71 is the lowest conference member. OU, at 8-3, is # 56. NCAA RPI is out and the conference reports we are the only conference with all members in the top 69. There are minor differences between the two lists - NCAA has us # 64, ahead of OSU 68 and MU 69 and behind OU at 48. Our number in both lists should improve during the season, win or lose, as our SOS improves. Realtime predicition is OU 76-68.

“We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. We’re still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that.” Paul Rhoads

It might be a tough year, but I think we can finish in front of KSU, KU, OSU, OU and MU and maybe even Texas. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if OSU has a better season than Texas. The conference is tough, but if the girls can find ways to grind it out, we can finish in the upper half of the conference. If they lay down and quit it will be toward the bottom.
