Lil Clone Club - Hearing Zone

Is there a safe area for the kids to not hear the profanity. How is it in the north end of the Lil Clone zone? I suspect that they are far enough away in that area. Anyone know? My hearing is not as good as a six year old? Perhpas the ISU engineering school could put in some active noise control. Patent it and make some big time money for ISU as they sell it to other first class schools with D1 coaches.

Sounds like a good teaching opportunity for your child. They are going to hear it eventually and better for you to speak to what your beliefs are relative to swearing than someone else.

If you ever watch the movie "A Christmas Story" you'll realize those kids hear it a lot closer to home than in a stadium full of 7-10,000 screaming people. Many of which are also using profanity at times.

Is there really a lot of profanity at a women's basketball game?

Re: Lil Clone Club - Hearing Zone

Just asking if my grandkids would be able to hear the language (I am assuming from what other posters have said that the language would make a sailor blush so maybe this is all wrongly premised if they were lying). I doubt the kids can hear from there. And I think they are too busy watching the cheerleaders, video board or the play or eating ice cream to bother trying to read lips. At least I think mine are. It is a lot of fun bringing them to the Lil Clone zone and I do not want to quit.

Not sure I want them to hear it and so maybe you are right that one should keep the kids away if one does not relish that type of "family environment." Be better to go to WWF and explain to your kids these guys are losers and that is why they talk the way, they never had a first class education.

As for the teachable moment, what should I say "don't talk like that esteemed ISU staff member in the coat and tie, work at your communication skills and leadership skills so you don’t have to talk like that?" "Wearing a coat and tie everyday would make anyone swear?" Others?

You have to be within 5 feet of Bill to hear him. Those must be good seats.
