    Game Watch in Ames?

We'll be in Ames, but, will check out of our motel before the bowl game - staying for WBB before leaving town. Any recommendations where can we spend the afternoon watching Cyclone football?

Weve got a pretty good football conference, and weve got a pretty good conference overall. Were still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that. Paul Rhoads

If Pollard could make watching the pinstripe bowl on the jumbotron a reality, cyclone fans would flock!!!

Es Tas is where I'll most likely be residing.

But the options are endless: BWW, Old Chicago, West Towne, Olde Main, Welch Ave Station.

Not if the weather doesn't keep up like it is now.

Sorry I'd rather take a sports bar with booze over sitting in 20 degree temperatures watching the jumbotron.

Welch Ave Station is a great place to watch Cyclone games in Ames, I'm trying to figure out where would be a good place in Cedar Falls/Waterloo area to be surrounded by Cyclone fans for the bowl game.

    Okoboji Grill

Haven't found a place with a better happy hour/specials during football games

    According to ISUAA, try:

    Becks Sports Brewery
    3295 University Ave., Waterloo

ISUAA Club of Black Hawk County
    Geof Grimes, President; garch@mchsi.com

I know lots of people will be at Es Tas and Welch Ave. This will probably be the heavily-drinking younger crowd.

Wallaby's, Buffalo Wild Wings, or Old Main might be better if you want a more laid-back, non-bar atmosphere.

I watched the '09 Insight Bowl at Beck's on the Hill in CF. It was full of Clone fans.
