Tech has a lot of JUCOs.
    TCU recruits well.

What is Texas doing with those awful 3 star players and a 2 star kicker?

Till Art Briles takes the Texas job after there respective bowl games

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

This page breaks the conference down for you so you don't have to jump all around. TCU and West Virginia would come in 5th and 6th, respectively.

Hope this is prophetic. We need Baylor to get worse not better.

Mark my words, if RGIII leaves, ISU beats Baylor for sure! If he stays, we will obviously be the underdog.

Re: A look at recruiting classes

RGIII goes on, & Baylor is down. He is a program changing player by himself. If Briles stays, he is true to Baylor. Most coaches in his position would see that writing on the wall & try for the next best thing & appear to leave on a high note but couple that with leaving at the same time the best player the school ever had also left.

Still, in the end, I really like our recruiting class this year.

Off topic - anyone notice Nebby has only 9 commitments listed? Is this unusual for them this time of year?

    Section110 on 9/12/14: Iowa 35 ISU 17
The subpar defense from the Cyclones gives the Hawks a chance to finally start to get their confidence rolling on offense. Both running the football and through the air.
*Breakout player prediction.... Everyone is going to have their eyes on Allen Lazard because of his hype coming out of H.S., but Derrick Willies steals the show.

Re: A look at recruiting classes

Briles got an extension to $2.5M so it'd have to be a pretty big program (like Texas). Texas and their Berkeley leaders would never hire a guy like Briles.

I think it is low. David Ubben stated they only had like 1 or 2 Texas recruits. He insinuated this may be the issue that Mizzou has coming, no more Texas kids. Of course we all said this (as did David) but this gets some realism to things.
