Student tickets free to bowl game?

I know Rutgers students get in free. Do ISU students have to pay?

$75 or $70 can't remember. Rutgers didn't pay for their team to travel far so they eat the cost of those tickets instead.

Yep, unless you have somebody that will sponsor you.

Re: Student tickets free to bowl game?

Rutgers IIRC is buying $45 bleacher seats for their students. ISU is subsidizing $125 lower bowl tickets. They will cost $75 for the students. So ISU students are technically getting the better deal.

I donít care where you come from, whether itís Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I donít care about any of thatÖ But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

Never thought of that. Lucky for their students.

I see they have sold over 10,000 tickets through the school as of today.

Rutgers gives away free tickets to many of their home games too. There's a reason their AD is in the red.

Re: Student tickets free to bowl game?

Yeah, Iowa State students have to pay $75 for their tickets, but their location of seats are more than 75 times better than where Rutgers students will be sitting.

Wish I could go, but the family is traveling west instead of east for New Years.

I assumed that they were talking about 10,000 Rutgers tickets. But I don't know either.

JP said tonight on the women's game that ISU has sold 4,500 of it's 5,000 allotment. That does include the donation tickets.

If ISU can sell half that I'd be impressed.

Good job out of all of those that can go. Even better than KSU last year from what others have reported on this website.
