    Baylor vs UConn

Anyone else watching Baylor vs UConn tonight on ESPN? Awesome game so far. So much talent it's amazing. Kiah Stokes got put into the game and within 10 seconds fouled Griner for a +1. I don't see Baylor losing this year ever, running all the way to the Championship. We'll see -- maybe one loss to the Twister Sisters in Ames! Odyssey Sims will expose our point guard play in a scary way because she is AMAZING, but Anna will handle Griner.

BU 66-61, nice win for the Big XII. There are no weak points on this team. When we play we won't be able to double team one player and ignore another.

I would say the other starting three minus Sims and Griner could be considered a weak point. They do nothing for their team.

I'm still not convinced Griner is female.

True, Griner and Simms accounted for 48 of the teams 66 pts. Three other players average 8-10 pts on the season and were held well under. Some of that might have been due to UConn. But, I agree, Bill will find and exploit whatever weakness there is. Griner's D is a huge concern - threatens our pts in the paint.

    Re: Baylor vs UConn

That was a fun game to watch last night. Griner seemed to have it way to easy. She ended up breaking the Big 12 blocking record (previously set by Courtney Paris), and it's early in her junior year. I believe she's also fifth all-time in NCAA.

Baylor was definitely down on themselves for awhile in the game. UConn seemed to have things working, especially defensively, well going into halftime.

Heard O'Brien, Van Gundy, & Burke talk about how the series is set to end after last night. I would easily assume they will resume it. It's great seeing so many big games early on in the year.

    Re: Baylor vs UConn

Coach Fennelly has shown that he can consistently get our team to match up well with Baylor. Outside of ATM, ISU was the toughest matchup for Baylor. I suspect their game in Hilton will be a tough one.
