Yes! I like our chances against Baylor at home next year a lot more now

Why would he stay? He risks injury and has nothing left to prove. Plus he will have a masters degree in spring, no reason to stay.

I don't see him being much of a pro quarterback, but surely would like to see him enter the draft this year.

beating baylor would be a huge step in our program. Especially since the game is in jack trice and they will graduate/leave for NFL most all of their top players (RG3, KW, Ganaway, Baptiste, RG2)

This I think is the biggest reason that he'll go pro. Sure he doesn't have a P.H.D. yet...but I think since he has "completed" college and also a masters....there's not much to keep him.

Re: Hooray RGIII going pro (probably)

I really like RG3, I just wish he played for Purdue or some other non-big 12 school. I suspect that Baylor will still be better than they have been historically, but loosing RG3 will set their offense back a lot. The guy can just make plays, and I am will be glad to see him go.

Here's to hoping we never have a top five schedule two years in a row again.

Not a big fan of explaining how 6-6 in the Big 12 is better or equivalent to 8-4 in the Big Ten or 9-3 in the ACC/Big East.

If we continue with 9 conference games while everyone else plays 8 or less, then we are pretty much guaranteed to have a top 10 schedule every year.

This. The guy has done just about all he can do in college. He'll have a Masters soon and now has a Heisman Trophy and he's put Baylor football on the map. Go get paid RGIII, law school will always be there when you're done in the NFL

RGIII has every bit of athletic ability as Cam Newton, and I'm guessing he's a wee bit more intelligent too. I think he'll do fine in the NFL.

RG3 is a lot more intelligent than Cam Newton

This. I didn't get all the anti Cam Newton stuff before the draft last year. I was like did you not watch him at Auburn, the guy was a physical freak with his size and speed and had a Heisman year against tough SEC defenses.

RGIII is very accurate and can make plays on the move. I also think he'll be fine in the NFL.

The knock on traditionally "athletic QBs" is that they are great runners and barely average throwers - Mike Vick, Vince Young, Tim Tebow, etc. Cam Newton and RGIII can run, but they can also sling the rock - accurately, and with authority.
