    Register buries Rhoads story...

I can only get the online addition of the the DM Register, but it's interesting how the Paul Rhoads extension is buried in today's addition. Kirk F. would have been the front page story in similar circumstances. I continue to be amazed at how that paper chooses to ignore or short change so many readers or potential readers at a time when that industry is dying. Their bias is obvious. (I give credit to the CR Gazette for having PR's deal as a major story)

This has become common place with this paper. They fuel the rumor and then bury the story when the rumor isn't true. Poor journalism

I take the online subscription and it's on the front page of that sports section, color picture and all.

The ragging on the Register really gets old.

The headline teaser is on the very top of the front page of the today's paper (looking at my print copy).

Yet you continue to read it? Like a girl in an abusive relationship, you complain about the situation, but won't stand up and walk away.

    Walk away.

It's the internet. News is fluid. They write new stories and they move the other stories around. I don't see an issue with this. Click on Cyclone Insider and there you go.

They made huge news out of this yesterday when it was breaking (as they should have-it was News) on twitter and on their website

I don't read the hard copy so I can't speak for what they did there

I just read on Hawkeye Report that the DMR is run by Jamie Pollard and completely owned by the ISU Athletic Department.

The DMR is viewed 100% differently by Iowa and ISU fans, always entertaining to see this.

I would rather read the Gazette over The Rag anyday. Gazette always seems to have better articles and more coverage of the Clones then the crap they call the Register.

The DMR was right on top of it yesterday with a headline on their website (along with coach and team photos). Andrew Logue was tweeting information as soon as it was available. This stuff needs to stop. Technically in this day and age the contract extension is old news, no need for a front page or anything today.

Haven't read that paper on purpose for many years. If you're not a liberal against agriculture and pull for the hawks, there isn't a whole lot there for you.
