    Thoughts About Aliens / ET's

I'm agnostic when it comes to the existence of ET's, but what do you think about my thoughts:

+ The closest galaxy to our is Andromeda, which is about 2.5 million light years, so if ET's could travel at the speed of light (c), it would take them 2.5 MM earth years, to reach us.

....That's one big lunch box to pack.
    ....not to mention fuel.

+ Relativity says nothing can travel at the speed of light because it would gain so much mass - infinite amount of mass, which would require an infinite amount of energy.

+ then again, if it could travel at the speed of light, time dilation would make it seem less than 2.5 MM years.

So, if Aliens exist, and visited earth, how in the heck did they get here?

Anything illogical with my theory / thought?

Here's a number of "possible" answers to your query:

    1. Wormholes
    2. An as yet undiscovered aspect of physics that allows for warp speeds in excess of light speed (observations have already been made of neutrinos traveling faster than light-not yet fully verified observations, but interesting nonetheless).
    3. Technologies we, as yet, cannot even conceive of...imagine what we'll know and do in 1000 years...or 10,000...or 100,000 years. Those amounts of time are miniscule in the "big picture" of the universe...but are likely to allow for incredible advances in technology and knowledge.

In other words, we will find a way to explore the universe...and almost certainly will encounter others intelligences along the way...perhaps much to our peril. It is a near certainty, that other intelligent species have already done this...though whether or not they'd have ANY interest in us is highly debateable.

There are probably ways to circumvent or exceed the speed of light rule. Our physics just isn't there yet. But think if we were a civilization that had had a million years to work on it instead of a few thousand.

Aliens could be in our own galaxy.

exactly. If they are anything like us they haven't visited yet or we'd all be dead. Look what humans have done with exploring new land and continents...try to wipe out the natives almost every single time.

and more than likely are. there are likely millions of planets in the milky way alone and some of them likely could support life.

Appreciate your comments, I never knew / heard of "wormholes", but a near certainty they we have been visited ??

I just don't see the hard evidence - but will all respect to credible person's eyewitness testimonies .
