I also saw that Nintendo cant keep up with demand. This holiday season is going to be rough for wanters of the Wii. They have been sold out for almost a year now. Crazy.

Edit: Reggie: Wii won't meet holiday demand - News at GameSpot

What do you need a cover for the remote for?

Probably just grip for those sweaty times. I dont care, they are free. Could keep some of the nasty off the remote.

Will that prevent my three year old from about tossing it through my bigscreen?

Sounds like you are using the remote for things other than recommended by Nintendo...

I still find it amazing that the Wii is still sold out in numerous places, but I think Nintendo is doing this on purpose to keep demand for the Wii up. I'm still trying to find one, myself. :(

Costco has them about every time I go in. Plus their games are about $5 cheaper.

But how long do they stay there. I think Costco gets a steady supply of electronics. I wonder if they have some sort of deal with manufacturers that others dont.

    Re: Nintendo Wii Owner Read

I am really wanting a Wii. A few friends have one and we (whole fam) love it.

But I want an HD DVD player and gaming console in one. I know that the PS3 and the 360 have that, but the Wii is more family friendly. Come on Nitendo.. but a HD quality DVD player in there!!! I can hardly wait....

    - keep.

Who knows, but we are usually there every other weekend, so there is a good chance that there are a few there at any given time.

I have a wii and 360 and they compliment each other nicely. My wife and I battle it out on a bunch of games on the Wii and I play the more shoot em type games on the 360.
