    Contract?

When does Rhoads get a contract extension? When do we hear about it? It would help put to bed all of "Rhoads is probably going to leave us" stuff.

Maybe he won't negotiate a new contract because he doesn't want to be locked in right now. See what u started!

My guess is if it happens, it will be after the bowl game.

They probably iron out the actual legal document somewhere after football season, though im sure if CPR has any issues before then promises will be made to get what he wants (or as close to that as we can do, depending on his wishes)

If it were an issue it would have already been done. Maybe it is already done too.

    Re: Contract?

    How about this.
Has any one heard CPR say he doesn't like his contract? If the answer is No please stop making stupid threads about a contract he may or may not give a rats *** about at the moment. The man may be a bit busy planning a trip for NYC.

    Re: Contract?

I thought I heard somewhere (probably here, whether true or not) that he was offered a raise and/or extension last year, and he asked Pollard to put that money into other things for the football program.

Where's the fire bro? My mind has been put to ease when CPR said that it's painfully obvious how much he likes it here.

    Re: Contract?

CPR loves it here. We will have to pay him appropriately, although I'd be willing to bet we get a slight discount (~10% less than what he could get elsewhere) because of the aforementioned love of ISU. I'd be willing to bet that absolutely nobody would be against giving him pretty much whatever he wants.....including the Pres and BoR.

JP has taken care of all his good coaches with new contracts. Why do some think he wont take care of CPR.

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)

I would be happy if I made as much as he does now. He realizes what is important to build the program and have success which is obviously not how much he gets paid. I'm all for paying him what he wants but I like his attitude towards how the money is best spent.

Contract extension doesn't mean much. A raise is what he's due. There would be an extension along with it.

    Re: Contract?

I love how people think the contract extension is the end-all-be-all to getting a coach to stay in a place. People forget that Chizik was given a contract extension - he left for Auburn like a coward practically two weeks later.
