    Rhoads' speech at bball game

Is this online anywhere? I saw mention of it in today's Monday Musings and would love to see it.

I'll be honest, it wasn't anything spectacular. Just saying thanks to the fans, thanks to his players, and welcoming us all to NYC. Just my opinion.......

Were you at the game? It was just as loud for Paul Rhoads as it was for Royce's 3 dunks in a row.

Was it loud, yes, but did it inspire me in ways that his locker speeches have - not even close. I'm not saying nothing to be excited about, plenty to cheer for, but the context of the "speech" was more in line with "Thank You and See You at NYC" in comparison to "I'm so Proud"....

Different types of speeches, I'm glad he thanked everyone for the support. And also pumped everyone up by saying "these kids play harder than anyone else in the nation". I think he truly believes that.

Guarantee it sold some bowl tickets.

It didn't do near as much for me as the locker room ones.

    Essentially This.

I guess, when the curiosity hits the fan of speech, I was just trying to point out it was nothing special in comparison to the other "speeches". Definitely worth being proud of as a fan though, and looking forward to a great bowl game and hopefully even more successful year next year.

I will say, I did like how he called out his players first. I know it makes us fans feel good when we can set attendance records, etc, and have a coach say that atmosphere plays a huge role in games, but when it comes down to it all, the players are the ones to be the most proud of.
