Haha. Odom throws a fit so they dish him even though the Paul deal doesn't go through.

What if the Lakers trade Odom and can't make the deal work to get Howard? Unless Lakers pull off the move for Howard this could be bad.

Now Dallas has the 2 7 footers in the NBA with the most unique skill sets. Dirk and LO on the floor at the same time is tough to match up with

I feel bad for Chris Paul in all this. It's absolute ******** that he isn't in LA right now.

If the Lakers get Dwight, they will be better off than they would have been if the Paul trade went through. I never thought they would be able to pull of both trades and if they had to choose between Howard or Paul, I would take Howard every time.

It'll be interesting to see how Dallas uses Odom. They have a ton of depth right now, wouldn't be surprised to see them make another trade soon.

Bulls won't get him and more I think about it he's not worth the trouble. Sucks that J-Rich is staying in Orlando. Looks like Chicago is filling our SG problem with Rip "Old Man" Hamilton. Seriously Bulls front office is this the best you got. Looks like we will continue to be Miami's *****.

That would, at a minimum, be an upgrade from Bogans...

Anyone with a pulse would be an upgrade from Bogans. It was embarrassing that he was/is our starting SG.

Re: Lakers back out of resubmitted Paul deal, Lamar Odom to Dallas

I think the Lakers are just going to wait for CP3 to go "free agent" and sign him that way. If that means "loaning" him to the Hornets or some other team, then so be it. If the Hornets end up trading him to a team that CP3 is willing to sign long-term with, then so be it. I think they just got tired of the league interfering.

Do I feel bad for him because he has lost his ability to make a living? No. He's still a millionaire. I do feel bad for him because the NBA has not afforded him the same opportunities they have to all their other players.

Also, the fact that although the NBA owns the Hornets, they stated the GM would be allowed to make decisions without interference from the NBA. They ignored that just a little bit by vetoing the entire trade.
