If it's just one year I guess it's okay. Definitely disappointed though. If we add him I doubt we go for anyone else this offseason.

Absolutely the Bulls need to add him. Gives enough scoring punch and fits with what Thibs wants defensively.

I really wanted Jamal Crawford. Bulls front office is scared of the luxury tax.

I would like a little better 3 point shooter, but can't complain that they are actually realizing a need that we have. Eventually going to have to go for a young guy or wait for the first round pick from Charlotte to turn into gold.

Who do you want them to add?

Caron Butler? - All he has left to offer is an injury. You watch what he does with Clips. Don't believe me, See last year when Mavs won a title without him

Jason Richardson? - Yeah he provides more scoring punch then Bogans, but will he play D?

Vince Carter, Grant Hill, T-Mac (T-Mac already signed) but no no and no. All over the hill

I will say that my dream adds would have been Aaron Afflalo or Courtey Lee. Afflalo a Restricted FA won't get away from Denver tho. They will match any offer or rediculously overpay to keep him. We had a shot to trade for Lee last yr and Paxson/Forman didn't pull the trigger.

Please don't tell me you are one these Bulls fans that wants OJ Mayo. He doesn't provide enough shooting to make it work. Plus we'd have to trade for him and because perception is so high for him we'd have to give up far too much for a guy that wouldn't be worth it.

Rip Hamilton makes the most sense at the 2 and this does not mean that the Bulls are out of the running to trade for D12 aka Dwight Howard. In fact it may strenghten our case. Rip provides everything we are looking for I don't know how we can pass on this. Besides the Def and Off player we are looking for at the 2 he will provide a ton of leadership.

I would LOVE Courtney Lee! I think Afflalo would be a good add too, although he doesn't have much of a scoring punch when he's not making his 3's. I thought OJ would have been an okay addition last year but he costs way too much for what he will give to the team.

I just don't know if Rip will be able to guard Wade or LeBron (Deng will probably guard him) at this point in his career. If he can't do that, what's the point of adding a defensive wing? I may be biased on him because I have always hated the Pistons.

I personally would like adding Crawford. He is a great shooter/scorer and has a history of performing well in the clutch. I haven't heard anything about his defensive though. That could be a problem.

And it we are going to get Howard we better act quickly because it sounds like something is going to happen within the next week. Who are you thinking we trade? I was hoping Boozer, Noah, and picks - Dwight and Hedo

So they need a scoring option outside of Rose, and they pick up one that is 5 years past any semblance of success? And one that has to volume shoot no less. They might as well have tried to get Kevin Martin. What a joke. If I am rose I am more angered by this cheap attempt than excited.

Don't worry, Rip will probably spend half the season out with an injury anyways.

Hey.. speaking of signing washed up players.. why not just go all the way and call up AI?

Courtney Lee, where is he? Why don't the Bulls go after him?

    -1

You are looking at it the wrong way. Rip versus Bogans? Who'd you rather have? How much better is Rip than Bogans? How much better does Rip make the Bulls over Bogans?

Quite a bit if you ask me. In fact Jason Richardson who most would agree his best days are behind him still has something to offer to the Bulls.

Remember it wasn't that many months ago that Shawn Marion shocked everyone by playing a significant role for the Mavs. Most would have said he was past it too, but he fit what Dallas needed.

Rockets. hasn't really fit in there since Orlando traded him and has come off the bench a lot

Paxson/Forman passed on a Lee for Asik straight up trade at the deadline last year. Paxson/Forman wanted Lee for 2 1st rounders didn't want to give up Asik
