    Verizon vtext question

    Every time I send a text message to one of my friends I get a reply from what appears to be a Verizon service called vtext. It says the number I'm texting is a land line (which I know isn't) and that I can send the text via email for $.99. What is this and why am I getting it?

    Thats happened to me once. But the number i did text was indeed a phone line. I would call him/her and have them try to text you to see if the same thing happens. If so, go into a verizon store or call their 24 hr hotline.
