Could I write for the Bleacher Report? I'm Ron Burgandy?

people still read Bleacher Report? That sight exist to take shots at Iowa State. Deadspin thinks they are a poo stain on the underpants of Journalism.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    According to Bleacher Report
I'm glad you put that first so I didn't have to finish the whole thing.

Sanu is very, very, good, and is not much of a step down from Blackmon IMO. We didn't exactly stop Blackmon either.

Using that logic, ISU must be undefeated and playing in the NC game?

Re: Is Mohamed Sanu better than Justin Blackmon?

I'm sure he's good, but I'm also sure that Bleacher Report just pulled that out of their ***, and did very little research on Iowa State. Probably just looking at passing yards allowed, without taking conference into account.

Re: Is Mohamed Sanu better than Justin Blackmon?

Well looked like Pitt, West Virginia, and Cincinnati all had the defenses to shut him down as they all held him under 50 yards. Also there are two other teams that held him under 100. I have no doubt our secondary will limit him all day. Might be the best secondary Rutgers has faced all year.

Re: Is Mohamed Sanu better than Justin Blackmon?

Lucky we have a month to plan to contauin Sanu.

Our bigger concern may be scoring points. RU is 16th in nation for points allowed in a game? Any ideas how we might approach the game?

RU has a good Defense and a very good Pass D. However they did not play against a murder row's of offense in the Big E. The top 5 Offensive teams in the BE are ranked, 17, 31, 56, 84, and 90.

They have a similar team as we do in that they have a strong D with less than explosive offense. I think we'll approach the game like we did against KSU. With the team that executes (less mistakes) pulling out the win late in the game.

Not being a cruddy Big East team with no offensive weapons? Check!
