    Irritating things babies do

For the most part, our almost 1 month old son is awesome. Only gets up for 1 night feeding, and is rather quiet. But he has one thing that drives me insane: spitting out his pacifier then freaking out about it. I wish you could just tape these things in. I try a tuck move, which angers the little burrito.

At least i have a good reason to stay up and tip a few.

That is nothing. Gas and teething are most irritating because i never realize why they are screaming until my wife points it out.

Wait until he gets sick and everything projectiles from both ends. That's a blast. My son got worked off the pacifier really quickly, which is a good thing. I've seen kids that just won't let that thing go.

Our first kid had no real problems with teething. People said we were lucky.

Our daughter (now 3) quit pacifiers in less than a month and went for the thumb. She was a great self-soother.

They do make a little strap that you can clip the thing on the baby's collar, but it will be a few months before you can make use of that thing. Until then, good luck...

Your best friend as new parents is a book call '12 hours in 12 Weeks'. Our 6 month old has been sleeping at least 12 hours a night since she was 6 weeks old following a few simple rules from that book.

My son never used the pacifier. The worst thing was when he was sick and just wouldn't sleep through the night at all. Our swing was like a godsend when he was really little.

    brilliant posting!

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs
