    Knott and AK47

seriously need to grown their hair out. Like Lattimore, A.J. Hawk, and Clay Matthews. It's just looks intimidating. Now 20 years ago I would have called them wimps. Hawk, Mathews and other linebackers make it look cool.

Not sure who this Lattimore fellow is, but if his hair is anything like Jake Lattimer's its probably pretty epic.

    Re: Knott and AK47

AK47's locks are flowing nicely this year, with some additional work could definitely be in Lattimer territory before next season.

It takes a lot of time in the weight room/ salon to be an effective defensive football player nowadays it would seem.

All the long hair is getting comical. When hair starts covering up your number on the front and back of your jersey it's time to chop it off. Plus it just looks like crap.

Yeah I meant Lattimer. Gotta get the crazy guy look. Brian Bozworth made a career out of having the crazy guy look.

You had me until you mentioned Green Bay Packer linebackers. Then you lost me. Hawk and Matthews look like manly women.

There is a spirituality to long hair---an inner strength and special powers it could grant you. This is why Michael Landon (of Bonanza; Little House on the Prairie fame) grew his hair out in the 1970's-80's and wore it long

    true story
