    Bowl Selection Workings

I am not going to complain anymore about the Pinstripe, and plan to suck it up and make the trip. I went to the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, and this one is setting up to be a repeat -- small Cyclone crowd, large "local" crowd, and cold/crappy weather. Oh well, any bowl is better than no bowl.

I guess my only question is whether anyone has any insight into whether JP tried to position ISU and the Big 12 to take MU so we could go to an at-large bowl, or did we eat this crap sandwich with a smile on our face?

There needs to be an official thread or sticky to inform all the whiny ******* like you that not everybody would rather go to some crap town in Alabama than New York City on New Years. This is not a "crap sandwich".

    Re: Bowl Selection Workings

I'd take Pinstripe over Independence any day. Read CWs article on the front page on why this is great (plus, we have played at the Independence bowl twice in the last decade).

ďI told you, I donít care if youíre black or white. I donít care if youíre rich or poor. I donít care where you come from, whether itís Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I donít care about any of thatÖ But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads
