I don't know if it's really going to matter. Coach Paul Rhoads and his staff have 3 weeks to prepare for Rutgers. I personally can't wait for the kickoff. It's time to show the world how BIGXII football rules over Big East football.

I think this is pretty common knowledge we don't have to prove that at all. Their best team was ranked 23 heading into the conference championship game.

Rutgers seem like a solid team.

It's not a huge deal but it means that on gameday they will be much more familiar with what is going on, and since it is being played in a baseball stadium rather than a football stadium the gameday experience for the players is probably going to be very different - just think of stuff like locker space and training rooms. A baseball team is 1/4 the size of a football team, who knows how they'll get all that set up.

Be prepared for sod coming up all game long. In the game vs Army big chunks of sod on the baseball infield were coming up since it did't have time to set roots. Anyway, good luck to ISU and please ignore the idiots in our fan base......

For the simple fact that their team has already been there, knows the sounds, sights and play of the field. Not a huge deal, but yet another advantage for them.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that ISU fans (especially members of this forum) are not good at ignoring idiots of other teams fanbases.

This so called "home field" advantage shouldn't matter at all. ISU has been on the bigger stage many more times this season then Rutgers. It's that simple. Let Rutgers have the home field advantage. That's ok.. Let the Cyclones teach them all about BIGXII football.

Field = 100 yards? First down every 10 yards? How will we ever adapt to that crazy field?

Coach Rhoads better call in Norman Dale and his tape measure just to make sure our boys are ready.
