any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

i sure hope we don't have to see that guy again. although, his backup looked pretty sharp when Griffin went down last two games ago.

Any chance he doesn't? He has already graduated, and has nothing left to prove. He deserves the Heisman.

Now that Miami is no longer in the running for luck, I am hoping they will go after RGIII.

I believe that he is still up in the air about staying for a 5 year. He has stated that he would like to go to Law school. I hope he takes the money and puts off more schooling!

We saw how good Baylor is without him last year. I'm hoping he decides it's time to start earning a paycheck.

I thought it was funny that Justin Blackmon walked with the seniors on senior night last night.

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

He's got to see how running quarterbacks are viewed in the NFL and through the draft process and take that into account in his decision, though. While it is absolutely clear that Baylor could have a special season (by anyone's perspective, not just Baylor's perspective), he could (and most likely would) be sitting on the bench in the NFL. He is a spectacular talent, and will be viewed much differently than previous running quarterbacks, such as Brad Smith and Pat White, but how much differently will he be viewed? That's my real question.

He has a way better arm than Smith or White. Plus he is brilliant, he could learn the NFL game quickly. He could be a great NFL QB.

Agreed, but Pat White had a surprisingly live arm. He proved as much in Senior Bowl practices and in that game, when he threw for an obscene amount of yardage.

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

If he does come back, theres about a 1% chance he has a better season next year than this year. He will still be a great player, but he'd take a half step back. They lose kendall wright, nick jean-baptiste, and Terrance ganaway. Baylor will be about 8-4 with RG3 and 6-6 without him. IMO

Re: any chance RGIII goes pro after this year?

I do not see why he wouldn't go pro. And people definitely do not see him in the "running quarterback" mold given his arm and the offense that he runs. I have seem mocks putting him to the Dolphins for awhile now...

    WalterFootball.com: 2012 NFL Mock Draft

...and, given that Miami is drafting in the top ten right now, I think that obviously makes RG3 a top ten prospect. If anything, he seems to be on the same "1A" tier with Landry Jones and Matt Barkley after Andrew Luck at 1. This draft is going to be interesting, another year of the quarterback, with those four going in the first-round, if not all in the top ten or fifteen.

Here is a little scouting writeup I found for him, too:

WalterFootball.com: 2012 NFL Draft Big Board

    (He's #4 overall!)

I know, it is just one website's opinion, but it's hardly that unique.

    RG3 isn't a running QB. He's a throwing QB that CAN run.
