Bill Snyder didn't even bother to scout us.

“They play extremely hard. They play very sound football. They had some turnovers in that (Oklahoma) ballgame, but normally they are a pretty secure football team. They do not give up defensively an awful lot. They do not put themselves in jeopardy on offense. They are very sound, secure in the kicking game. I think fundamentally, they are a good football team. They finish ballgames. At no particular point of time in the course of a ballgame, regardless of what has taken place, do they not play as hard as they can.”

At least he got the playing hard thing right.

I doubt Snyder can watch much film between his trips to the bathroom. I laughed when I read a couple of those. There aren't many teams in the country that have put themselves in more jeopardy on offense than our team.

Secure in the kicking game? I hope he doesn't mean FG and Exta Points, not to mention the blocked extra point two years ago in KC against K-STATE...

    I think he's lost it...

He forgot to talk about the false start penalties and how we lead the nation.

I thought Bill Snyder had died of old age 50 years ago.

I think the punting game has hurt us just as much lately too. Our success rate pinning the opposing team inside the 20 let alone the 5 is not good at all this whole year and now lately our short punts and lenz going down has really damaged our ability to win any field position battle.

But anyway. that whole thing except the playing hard pard is just a little off base. Maybe he is suffering a lot of short term memory loss. we havent been in great turnover territory since (gasp) Mac left.

Re: Bill Snyder didn't even bother to scout us.

He probably has a 12 index cards printed out with a GA filling in the blanks

“_________ play extremely hard. They play very sound football. They had some turnovers in that __________ ballgame, but normally they are a pretty secure football team.

    The backside probably reads
"______________ is a great coach and I have alot of respect for him and what he has done at ___________. The ___________ are a great team and should give us a great ballgame."

Curious, Is that an official stat - do they keep that stat? Because I wouldn't doubt your comment even if you were sarcastic.

Funny, whenever I read things Bill Snyder says, in my head I am hearing this:

It seems he did watch the OU game. It's almost as if he's reporting on both teams in the same statement. I seriously wonder if he's confused?
