Good article on our staring LB'ers

From the Ames Trib. I am very excited to see these guys flying around the field. When all is said and done I strongly believe we will all be saying that this is the best LB Corp ever at ISU.

I hope you are right, we need a solid linebacking core to make up for what could be an inadequate defensive line. Especially early in the year.

I think next year they will be one of the top 10 LB cores in the country.

I liked the quote by Carper that last year he was the fast one, now he's the slow one. There's no doubt these LBers have a lot of speed, I just wish there were some big bodies on the dline to eat up some blockers and give these guys room to make plays. Maybe Tuba is the answer?

I think Tuba will help in run situations because of his size...but it was painful watching him run at yesterday's practice. Has a decent burst of speed but not fast by any means.

Hey cyzmatters, any other thoughts/comments on Tuba? Is the 320lbs look like game ready 320lbs or does he have some work to do? Does he look like he will be ready to go for Toledo?
