    BCS question...

I don't know if this has been covered yet, but I was just wondering about the rule that no more than 2 teams from a conference can play in BCS bowls. Is this subject to change if 2 teams from the same conference play in the championship(SEC)? I talked about this with some guys at work today...if Georgia can somehow pull the upset against LSU, they get an automatic BCS bowl berth. That would mean either LSU or Alabama wouldn't be able to play in a BCS bowl. Is that correct?

    No.

There is a loophole that was created a few years back that if the top 2 teams in the BCS are non-conference champs, then a conference can get 3 BCS spots.

I just think it'd be sad that if Georgia won that we'd have 2 teams from the same conference that didn't win their conference playing for the national championship.

Yeah I just found that also.

"No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings."

    Such a ridiculously stupid rule.
