    Best deals to Vegas?

Was wondering where to find the best deals (airfare/motel) to Vegas? I have never been out there and I am looking to take a trip out there this spring. I had heard you can usually get a deal with airfare and motel included, wondering the best places to get these deals.

Not that DSM International is known for low rates, but if you end up having to drive out of town (I see you're from the metro) because you couldn't find a deal flying out of DSM (to Vegas), you're doing something wrong.

Start with the Alligiant Airlines website.

    Re: Best deals to Vegas?

Depends on a lot of things. Allegiant is typically cheap and the direct flight is very nice. I've booked package deals through Orbitz as well. You'll fly through Denver or Houston to get there, but you can save some $. Allegiant can nickel and dime you on fees.

Sign up to follow a few resorts on Twitter or FB. They typically email out deals on rooms. I know I got an email from MGM Grand offering $55 rooms during the week for most of the winter and a good chunk of the spring. Booking separate can work out, but sometimes you can book great deals by going with the hotels directly. Most of the MGM Resorts properties have a air/hotel search on their webpages as well. That can sometimes get you a resort credit for drinks, food, etc.

On hotels - do your homework. If you looking for a place to lay your head there are plenty of those. If you want to class things up a bit there are plenty of those as well.
