    Great Finishes in Sports?

Watching this video got me thinking of what other finishes in sports have happened.

What I'm talking about is the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo for the 10,000 meter race. Billy Mills from the US won the race in dramatic fashion and is the only American and I believe the only person in the Western Hemisphere to ever win the event for the men's.

One of the guy he was facing a guy from Australia (Ron Clarke) who basically held every world record for the event. Mills had to increase his overall time by 2 minutes as well. Basically he had to run 4.5 minute miles or so.

Funny thing is the Olympic Committee didn't think Mills would do very well in the race because he was an absolute nobody to the world (He was an All American for Kansas, but nothing on the bigger stage), so they didn't even give him shoes and he had to borrow the shoes he ran the race in from someone else. He even got pushed by a few guys to the outside of the track twice with under 2 laps to go, but still prevailed. It's considered along with The Miracle on Ice to be one of the greatest upsets in Olympic history.

The way in which he wins is nothing short of incredible IMO.

The ISU vs OSU football game of 2011 had a pretty great finish IMO.

As much as I hate them now, the Patriots first Super Bowl win agains the Rams was pretty dramatic, if I remember right.
