    young offense

they way that i look at right now we are 3-1 in our last 4 big 12 games with an offense that is made up of freshman and sophmores.
    qb-barnett
    rb-white, woody, hollis,
    wr- west, gary,horne(transfer)
    ol- farniack

all this means is that we have beaten 2 top 25 teams and played ou at norman to a stand still in norman in the second half of the game. so we need to chill about the offense .

we have had 2 games of almost 600 yards against 2 big 12 defenses in the last 4games. when has an iowa state team done that.

then remember all the freshman that are being redshirted that would have played in years past ( both richardsons and rob standard)

    all is well

    Re: young offense

Our offense is so inexperienced, especially right now. Gary, West, Young, Hollis, White, even Woody, Fanriok, Lich, Tuftee, Barnett. It seems like everywhere we look there are underclassmen.

It's all snark from here on out

    Re: young offense

I know that "technically" TTech was a top 25 team, but I don't think I would consider it a game worth bragging about. ISU played a great game and imposed their will, but let's be real here, Tech is not a good team. I don't disagree with your post, but if we are going to start calling that a big win, we better call Kansas a big win too.

    Enjoy.

KU played well and it was a win.

If he doesn't we are in trouble and he won't play for sure. I think next years QB competition will be even better than this years. If we can find an accurate passer they move to the top of the class.

    Re: young offense

It's nice to have a QB that we can possibly build around for the next 3 years.

    Re: young offense

We have some young offensive tools to build around. Hopefully the young OL are just as good.

More importantly, hopefully there are some young defensive players that can step up in the coming years. It would be great to watch Wally have some more talented players to coach.
