    ISU Academic Rankings

    I am trying to convince some family members (husker fans) that NU was closer to the bottom of the big 12 and that they are certainly last in the big 10. Also, I am trying to make them realize that ISU is definitely the better academic school between the two. Does anyone have some solid evidence to back me up? Please don't bother with the US news rankings because those are garbage and not respected anyway.

    As a proud graduate with a degree in Architecture from the ISU College of Design, our design programs are always highly rated nationally by Design Intelligence. I would have never thought to go to UNL for this sort of professional degree...never.

    ISU is ranked 91 in the 2011 world university rankings. Nebraska isn't even in the top 200. ISU is also ranked in the top 200 of the top 400 world universities here. Nebraska is unranked again.

    How can anyone, even Husker fans, think that NU is a respectable university? Especially compared to a major research institution in the AAU like Iowa State?
