"Discouraging" may be a better way to put it. But you have to look at the schedule Three beatable opponents (2 on neutral court, one at home) and one road game vs. ranked team. 3-1 is a reasonable expectation, 2-2 is borderline.

    1-3 is unacceptable.

Nope, I am saying that I at least hope for a 3-1 record in the next four games. Our best chance for a loss is Michigan.

Before the season I would have agreed with you. Now that I know what we are workign with... I would accept 2-2.

I take a longer view. Fred is building a program which takes time. Want to see progress now, then some good wins in conf. We can see the improvement in ability already. I can be patient when I see quality.

I will be going to the Michigan game, so I really don't want them to lose that game. That being said, that would be an incredible win to pull off.

The game tonight will show us what our guys are made of. Providence is a solid team and the best team we have played so far. If we get stomped.....I will cry.

Re: Next 8 days of ISU hoops

    1-3 is unacceptable
    2-2 is ok
    3-1 is looking good
4-0 team has turned the corner and can be something special this year

I hope they are 3-1 but my guess is 2-2 only because the team hasn't jelled yet.

Re: Next 8 days of ISU hoops

Well we're at 1-3 so far.

2-2 should be easy. 3-1 will be challenging. 4-0 would be amazing.

I think we'll beat Rice, play a tight game with UNI (win/lose by +/- 5 points), and lose by 10 at Michigan. We'll know more after playing UNI.

Definitely took a nice step or two forward tonight.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

These next 8 days don't mean jack. The first 4 conference games is the true test.

"One step at a time" - At least that is what I would picture Yoda saying... More like "one step at a time, you will take. Herh herh herh"
