trying to show a trend on twitter to enhance his status as a legitimate candidate. Schools do it all the time, but this is the first I have seen from a twitter perspective.

Not sure about the idea, but I think he has to be a legitimate Heisman contender.

From the games I've seen, RGIII has been more dominant than any other of the Heisman wannabes.

Weird to see Baylor has their own logo for the guy. The line between amateur athlete and pseudo-professional continues to blur....

Next they will be putting his image up on the sides of buildings in Dallas.

    Wait a minute...

Wow they created a website for him. Is that legal?

It's hard to debate his legitimacy as a heisman candidate, easily one of the most exciting players to watch in college football. One of the best passers in the country with the legs of a track star.

I like it. If we had a potential Heisman candidate on the team, we'd want Athletics to do anything they could to get him publicity and attention.

From a sports marketing standpoint its BRILLIANT. Infiltrating the social media has tremendous impact and is FREE.

Re: Join The Third - Baylor Bold

Baylor should worry more about filling up their stadium. The attendance for our game was laughable and so was the crowd last Saturday night. You're playing OU (team that is close and will bring thousands of their own fans in) and you still can't sell out that tiny stadium? In the prime of the RG3 era no less. The weather was good too.

Shockingly bad fan support IMO. If I'm Art Briles I'm out of there as soon as RG3 is done.

First let me say what some don't want to admit-he's legit and if he was a Clone we'd be thrilled. Second, of all the top 3 or 4 contenders in the last 20 years or so we've had someone end up in NY and we had a very poor record by Heisman standards. So I don't begrudge Baylor at all, they have a decent record, big win, etc.

I can't take the Heisman seriously after they screwed Troy Davis. It's just a PR contest for the "right" schools.

If the Baylor fans can't support Baylor football now, they never will.
