And they probably assume that someone might read their Saturday paper too (I don't).

    Re: Des Moines Rag

Nothing "little brother" about it. If Iowa had a game like we had on Friday night, the Rag would have had a special section, and be running daily articles about it for the following two weeks. When ISU has a monumental victory it is forgotten by Day 2, and story gets buried on their website.

Closet Hock fans' opinions will differ (naturally).

ISU was on the front page of the entire paper yesterday, let alone dominated the entire sports section.

I can't believe that piece of trash still bothers some of you. It hasn't been good for years. And, what you get from it isn't worth the paper its printed on. I certainly wouldn't pay for it and if I were you I would just stop giving them money. And that goes for the Register too.

    Re: Des Moines Rag

I was a big fan that Iowa had front page of sports and 2 page spread in this mornings paper in the Press-Citizen. Iowa City paper, I know, but that's where I live. Iowa State had 2 columns. Oh, and yesterdays? 8 paragraphs at the bottom of the front page of the sports section. Hooray media bias... (although somewhat acceptable and expected considering it's an Iowa City paper)

    Re: Des Moines Rag

We played friday we were on the front page on Saturday. Hawks played Saturday they were in the Sunday. Simple. If the whole paper was devoted to the clones you guys would still find a reason to complain about it.
