    Where does this Rank?

First of all I want to give a shout out to all of cyclone nation last night. I still cant believe what went down last night in ames. I couldnt help but think about all the lifelong cyclone fans who have lived under a cloud for so long. it was a perfect storm 4 hour infomercial on promoting ISU. there have been countless hours of arguing and debating on this board and it all went away. this morning I cant help but to not stop smiling.

I remember growing up and watching upsets on ESPN and wondering what it would be like to experience that atmosphere. Before Coming to Iowa state I wanted to pick a school with big time college athletics. I never really Liked the university of iowa even though it was only 45 minutes from my house. at the People called me crazy for Going to ISU for the gameday athletics. We proved them all wrong last night.

I cant wait to go home tonight and watch the game on TV. Last Night I had no idea what to do? When I walked Into JTS last night something was different it was like something was in the air.

So I know this is long and cheesy but Thank you to everyone who made the JTS a wonderful atmosphere. thank you to all of the lifelong Cyclone fans who have stuck with this team over the years. this is your Day!

So I pose the question where does this rank in your sporting event experiences. here is mine

    Iowa state Defeats Okst.
white sox winning the world series in 2005
    and Defeating Iowa this year

BTW. that was me with sign Prayers go to stillwater. sorry I had to brag I was on ESPN all night and again on gameday this morning. Guess I used my seconds of fame up last night

    Go cyclones!!

    Last night---probably won't be beaten.
1989 Final Four---just because it was awesome to actually see one in person.
Creighton at Wells Fargo last year-awesome, intense experience.

Last night by far. It still hasn't set in completely. In all honesty I totally forgot that this made us bowl eligible. I was screaming like a school girl.

    Re: Where does this Rank?

Last night was the biggest. Not only beating the #2 team, but doing it on the biggest stage we could ask for.
Probably second for me was when our hoops team beat a salty UCLA team in the Sweet Sixteen in 2000. We went outside immediately afterwards and you could "hear" Ames. It seemed like the entire city was outside yelling. That was awesome.

Last night, easily. Second place is so not even close that I won't even name it.

The team we beat, the national stage, bowl eligible, BCS completely blown up.... unreal.

    Re: Where does this Rank?

Great sign. I was watching the game with some friends at Lucky Strike in Miami and we commented on how that was a mark of class. Nice job. Amazing day. Now if Furman could have only pulled it off against Florida and GSU could have beaten Bama.... Hopefully LSU will lose.

    Re: Where does this Rank?

Been an ISU fan since '97. This is the best football memory and ranks only behind our two years of dominating the Big 12 in hoops in overall Cyclone memories.

To be 6-4 with this schedule, is just incredible. I can only imagine where CPR could take this team with more time, stability and recruiting. Look at what JB alone has done for the team in just 3.5 games as a freshman. We lose some very good players this year, but I honestly think we might have the best linebackers in the Big 12 next year, and dare I say the nation. AK was a freak yesterday and everybody knows what Knott can do.

Johnny Orr's Cyclones defeat #10 Missouri in double overtime as the birth of Hilton Magic=Last Night.

    Simple enough.

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
