    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    The Metrodome has a swastika. Seriously though, people need to get a grip. No need to spend half a million dollars to correct it. What a wast of money. Next thing you know we'll start ripping up roads or cutting down forrests that might have a hint of a swastika in them.

    Also, here's an article that its not just wacked out liberals that get crazy over things being displayed in public. Flag-Themed Hydrant Pulled From Dog Park Wacked out liberals go nuts over Christian religious displays in public, now conservatives (and I say conservitives because most liberals wouldn't see a problem with this) are complaining about desicration of the flag because a symbolic fire hydrant has the flag on it. Not even a fire hydrant that dogs would actually use, but a statue to honor a dead police dog. What next, no more flag themed swimsuits because someone might desicrate it by peeing in the pool.

    This just proves that the craziness to be politically correct is the most bi-partisan movement in the United States.

    Look at a picture of the United States. The borders of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico have a swastika in them. I think we need to change the borders of these states so that the lines are not straight and we don't offend anyone.

    My friend is an astronaut and he is constantly offended by those state's borders. I say we get them re-drawn too.

    The single point is fine. Just make the sides of the states jagged. One area will stop it.

    Would you consider the building symbolism that can't be ignored? If so, why can we the border of the states be ignored? Or almost any rural road system. Seriously, when its obvious that its not meant to be the swastika, we don't need to overreact about it.

    Re-read and post that, it doesn't make sense. I think I know what your saying so in regards to that. Obviously the architects don't necessarily design to look like something that it shouldn't, but through the concepts it just works out that way. You get so involved in achieving the function sometimes, that the form manipulates into something that would regulary be frowned upon. So does that mean you go back and change it, no not usually.

    The states on the other hand can't be manipulated as easily. Besides their is history there on how they were derived. Those borders go farther back than most buildings and in a sense you would be rewriting history by changing it. I think you said it best, we just dont need to overreact about it!
