So....have we sold 50,000 season tickets for next year yet? Better expedite the additional seating!!

321,880 with only 6 home games...

Last year we had 317,767 with 7 games at JTS.

I realize we had Iowa at home and there were a lot of gimicky promotions this year, but to have an increase in total attendance with one less game is very impressive.

What year in your history of being an ISU fan do remember ISU not having gimicky promotions at the end of the year? That happens every single year. The fans stepped up...big time this year.

And this will continue as long as Rhoads is our coach. ISU is playing very exciting football lately. Even with Iowa not being at home next year, I won't be surprised one bit when we set another record. Fans are going to come as we are now playing exciting football and also winning!

ďI told you, I donít care if youíre black or white. I donít care if youíre rich or poor. I donít care where you come from, whether itís Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I donít care about any of thatÖ But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

We won't have Iowa or UNI, but we will once again have 7 home games, assuming that WVU takes Mizzou's spot on the schedule (I haven't been keeping up with the realignment talk lately, so I'm not exactly sure what's happening here).

I'd guess that we'll see a small drop in average attendance but overall attendance will be up.

    FIFY.

Edit: It's not like they were giving away free pizza to anyone who walked in the door.

I want to be optimistic, but I don't see much chance of matching this season's record.

Tulsa, Western Illinois, Baylor, Texas Tech, West Virginia...none of these teams will bring a ton of fans or have a ton of history to bring fringe fans like a school like Texas does.

K-State will bring a number of fans and so will OU. But overall the schedule doesn't set itself up for a bunch of big draws like UNI, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Texas, etc.

Winning cures all. If we play well early and WIN, the Jack will be packed.

Maybe West Virginia. They'll see the RV lot and feel like they're at home.
I could actually see some WV fans come to see a new environment. At the same time, every Big 12 road game will be a new environment for them, so that might cancel out.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

If we keep winning next year we will.

Agreed. If ISU is ranked for a good portion of the season, they could match this seasons record, but I don't know if we're ready to be consistently ranked.

Ames will be the closest conference road trip for WVU. Could help us out in that regard.
