To be fair, that catch was pretty freaking ridiculous.

ISU should of cracked it on the wheel route or one of the picks though...

my take: who gives a shiz about the top ten plays when the game gave us incredible national exposure. anyone who wanted to watch football tonight, watched iowa state. ESPN = hype machine. i have a feeling the upset will get mentioned but most of the focus will be around alabama and oregon and who should play LSU for the title.

    Re: ESPN Top 10 Plays

That Blackmon catch was awesome. If our D was going to give up plays, and that's what it took to score TD's against us, I will take that any day. Even Blackmon couldn't make catches like that every day, but ones like that will get him drafted very highly...

OSU can have the number 2 play. I'll take the win instead.

Agreed. And now, much like people remember Pitt for ruining WV's chance to play for a title people will now remember Iowa State for derailing OSU's perfect season.

Think about this one: Rhoads was Defensive Coordinator for that Pitt team

Between the pathetic replay ESPN put up and the pathetic Top 10 I'm unhappy with ESPN right now..

CPR remembers the details of that game. He said they won because they missed only two tackles (for 7 yards after the misses). Our tackling on their quick outside passes made a huge difference tonight.

I can't wait to hear what the announcers say as we come back. They just gave props to the crowd saying, "This place is rockin'."
