    a defense give up 500 yards and still play good?

    the same way an offense racks up 586 yards but the defense kept them in the game.

    also, they only gave up 17 pts in regulation to a team averaging 52.

    When they only give up 17 to a team that is averaging 50 in regulation. When they force critical turnovers and give their offense a chance to win. When they are backed up on a turnover, adn pull through.

    They stepped up everytime, both teams had a lot drives with a couple first downs where they didn't score.
