    Player Weights on Cyclones.com Roster

All the players seem to be listed at higher weights than before. I'm not sure how current this is:

Vette and Thompson are listed at 250
    CJ is listed at 240
    Hubalek is listed at 235
    Brackins is lised at 230
and Staiger is listed at 220

Brister is big bodied guard at 215

Those are some decent gains from last year.

Even Garrett is listed at 180.

If its anything like my roster was for high school, you can subtract about 20 lbs.

Maybe so, but it is still a gain though relative to last years roser for most of these guys. So if last year was also inflated by 10-20 lbs and so is this years, the gain is still there.

Re: Player Weights on Cyclones.com Roster

I did a thread about this a few weeks ago when the roster was updated... I used the weights from the program last year or from rivals for the new guys and showed their new listed weight after that.

    W. Johnson - 195 to 210
    Rahshon Clark - 200 to 210
    C. Johnson - 230 to 240
    Jiri Hubalek - 225 to 235
Thompson - 215 to 250! Get ready for the big fella!

New guys - (weights from Rivals)

    Brackins - 220 to 230
    Garrett - 170 to 180
    Vette - 245 to 250
    Boozer - 190 to 195
    Staiger - 215 to 220
Haluska - 195 to 200 (according to IHCC website)

Not a big deal, it's good info, I'm just happy somebody else dorks out and pours over the roster.

I'm always dreaming of basketball season. By far, my favorite sport. Plus, I actually get to see games on TV.

I'm guessing that these are the targeted weights that the coaching staff wants each player to get at by the time the season starts.

Quit looking at other guys weights. It's embarrasing.

For the most part I believe they're actually pretty accurate. Diante still looks rail thin but he has gained weight, which he'll need to continue to do obviously.

Wes is always going to look "lanky" and thin but his body has def. been transformed. 215 should be a good playing weight for him (and oddly enough, I remember Gmac saying at the end of last season they wanted to try to get him up to 225! He almost got there too!). Craig is sort of in the same boat, he'll look skinny to the eye but his body is making some good strides.

Overall I think we'll look more like a Big 12 roster but still not quite where we want to be just yet.

Don't you feel dirty talking about Man boddies. I would rather discuss the height and weight of the womens basketball team. I don't even like womens basketball.

It's not like I'm talking about Alex Thompson's ***. We're looking at their weights in a football sense, jeez get over it dude.

This is starting to remind me of stag party/barbecue on "The Office":

Michael: "Who wants my man meat?"
Dwight: "I want your man meat!"

I'm guessing you are just joking

However, if I need to justify this, I am very concerned about the size (weight) of this team. I think we may get thrown around like ragdolls if we didn't gain some weight and it looks like, for the most part, everyone has put on some pounds.
