Re: Jadda Buckley ESPN HoopGurlz Feature

Thanks for the link - Buckley is a HUGE get.
ISU also owes a big thanks to Lyndsey Fennelly for being such an influential bball "mentor" to her and giving us a huge advantage in the recruiting battle.
Will start immediately, IMO - she's a great competitor.

I wish she kept her name Lyndsey Meddars and added a Fennelly at the end. :)

I definitely see Lyndsey coaching at ISU someday!

I had forgotten about the ankle injury; I remember listening to part of the game now (plus numerous replays of her FT's). She will be a good one.

Jada's season parallels the recent bout of injuries besetting Iowa State's WBB stars. I havent read this here (excuse me if it was posted), but Buckley is down and out for the past week with an ankle injury: Search

No need to say, but hope her injuries are short-lived and a thing of the past.

Re: Jadda Buckley ESPN HoopGurlz Feature

In an arguably related story, Alexa Kastanek of Lincoln, NE recently gave an oral commit to Iowa. The reporting story indicates offers from NCState (where her sister plays) NU and Colorado. Though we had been interested, apparently Bill didn't offer. I think this is affirmation of Buckley. In the same class as Buckley, Kastanek would be unnecessary.

My hometown plays Mason City tomorrow at home. Kind of disappointed I'll be missing it. Definitely have heard a lot of talk about her.
