WBB ESPN Bracketology - Cyclones 9 seed

    Just for fun:

Bracketology - Women's College Basketball Brackets and Predictions - ESPN

Don't like the thought of having Stanford in our bracket, again...with all the players on that team that BF has coached, the scouting advantage would be on our side though.

I know Creme is an idiot but come on. ISU will be in the Des Moines region. We aren't hosting so we can play there. Someone should tell Charlie boy that.

Would be sweet to beat Stanford and with Greenfield on the team would make it even SWEETER.

ISU will be in the Des Moines region. The selection committee knows where the bread is buttered. Of course this is so far out we have no idea if we will even be good enough to make the tourney. Lots of bball to be played yet. Would be a tragedy, but ISU realistically could be a .500 team this year with the nasty schedule they have in the Big 12.

Each year I expect to make the dance and hope to make the second weekend. Our best shot is to play well enough during the season to get a 4-5 seed in the Des Moines region. Next year, we may hope for more.

Since UNI is the host for Des Moines, if they make the tournament and would make it to the third round, wouldn't they be placed there?

    No.

Regional hosts can't be placed in that region.

1st/2nd round hosts MUST be placed at their home site.
