Rhoads as a replacement of Paterno?

I read this today, I doubt he would want to go into that situation.

Oh Bleacher Report, how funny you are...

Rhoads to PSU, but only as an alternative if he can't get the Iowa job since Ferentz isn't going anywhere?

I wouldn't say no chance but doubtful. I would become a Penn State fan though and watch him succeed.

Is he inferring that CPR would go to Iowa if Ferentz leaves? Laughable.

I about barfed at the line "what red-blooded American boy wouldn't want to coach in the Big 10?"

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

Re: Rhoads as a replacement of Paterno?

I don't find it likely and I feel better about Rhoads being here next year than I did at this time last year. But......we are fooling ourselves that just by being Iowa State he'll stay here forever.

As far as Penn State goes, I am sure they will be looking for someone exactly like Rhoads. Someone with (from what I see) pretty high ethical standards, someone with lots of energy, and someone who will love their school and his team. Not to mention a pretty great football coach.

Well, its an easy conference that still has the blue hairs remembering how great it was. It's like the respect of the SEC, but you play big east competition. What could be better (other than a big10 basketball coach)?
