    ESPN 3/Centurylink for Bball games

It appears Centurylink now has ESPN3. Or else I have became very lucky and am able to watch it now. Picked up football games yesterday and am now watching the Arizona Duqesne game. Anyone else experiencing this?

This is strange then. Now that I mentioned it it probably won't work for me after tonight.

I know Qwest never had ESPN 3...can you confirm, yes or no, if Centurylink has it?

Century link in Cedar Rapids does not have it.

    Anyone have a 'workaround'?

I have had Centurylink for 6 years now and they have never been an ESPN 3 affiliate. Wish they would, especially now that they have grown into bigger markets with the Qwest purchase.

From a thread on CenturyLink's facebook page, they are negotiating with ESPN3 now.

Create an account at work or somewhere with a provider who carries ESPN3. You can sign in as a guest through that account at home. Something like that.

If you can find a buddy who has ESPN3, you can have them make it available remotely and they can give you their password and username to log in at game time. ESPN3 allows this for those with the service to view games while traveling or outside of their home ISP.

All you have to do to get ESPN 3 is sign up for an att.net email address (it's free). Go to espn3.com and select AT&T as your internet service provider and sign in to your e-mail. This will let you access ESPN3 anywhere regardless of your internet provider.

    Yeah, right. What he said.

I guess I didn't think of making a dummy account for someone. As long as you turn that account to "remote" for someone, it should work. My experience with Remote is that isn't doesn't last long. A few log-ins and it reverts back to locked out unless you log in on the home ISP with ESPN3. It could get to be a burden for someone but it will work.

Unless something has changed they blocked all of those accounts out of being able to access ESPN3 the 2nd week of football season.

If it is working again for somebody by signing up again, please let me know!
