Graham Spanier PSU President ISU ALUM

Graham Spanier is the president at Penn state and an Iowa state Alum. I am A little disappointed that I am associated with this man because I am also a student at iowa state. I know its not a big deal and no one will know that he graduated from ISU, But it is still a little embarrassing. i also recognize that this is not his fault but it is starting to look like a lot of the staff covered the whole thing up.

I also found this little nugget interesting it is a letter sent to recruits by penn st. coach mike Mcqueary the tall guy with bright orange hair that is always on the sideline. keep in mind that he witnessed what took place with sandusky and a child in the locker room

    sorry if posted before.

I don't think it means he's a bad person or represents ISU in a bad way...just made a complete error in judgement on a very very serious issue. He will have to pay for his error.

If what I heard on the radio is true, the decision to handle this situation as it was handled ultimately came down to him. He certainly should be fired or resign immediately.

    No, it really doesn't...

In the end he will be connected with Penn State, not where he went to school.

Good grief some you are pathetic.

I'm sure there are ISU, Notre Dame, Wartburg, etc. alums that have done much worse things. Don't feel too disappointed to be in the same alum group.

No it doesn't. What Jerry Sandusky, who has no association with Iowa State University, did has no implications on this university is perceived.
