Is this the first time Tj otz hasn't been the lead

recruiter on one of our commits? admittedly i don't follow bball as much as football, but all i know about otz, is that he is known for his recruiting. but this time around he wasn't the lead on anyone. wonder who he missed on this season as im sure he was the main guy for a number of recruits.

While he is technically a member of the 2011 class, TJ was the lead recruiter for Naz Long.

CFH said that TJ's role with the team has changed with more emphasis on X's and O's. Don't know if this had any bearing on the recruiting trail.

He wasnt. He is now more focused on coaching. Matt A. is now our lead recruiter.

If he can join at the semester like he wants, he'll be a member of the 2011 class.

The sooner the better. It will be good to have another solid (and long) PG on the scout team for our "PG by committee" to practice against.

I believe he can but it is doubtful that he will be ready to jump directly into Big 12 play.

Good insurance for conference play. This could be a godsend. And the plan unfolds.

A freshman here for a few weeks will not be the answer if it's still a problem. If they are even talking about it then the people who have posted their concern have some validation.

So does that mean if he doesn't play he "redshirts" for 2011 and then will be a RS Freshman in '12?

    yeah thats the plan

"Freddie knows the game," Bird said. "I'm sure he picked up a lot of stuff over the years from different people. College is different from the NBA, but I'm sure he'll do a great job."
