I may be way off base but that didn't seem like that big of a deal.

A grown man going up against 13 year olds where one of the players breaks a collarbone and that is not a big deal?

When I was in the 8th grade I played for a traveling baseball team in KC. A kid walked 4 people in a row and when he came back to the dugout the coach got so ****** he choked him. Parents got the kid and I haven't seen him since. Coaches are silly at that age.

Seems safer than sending your kid to a Penn State football camp.

And after that, the parents should have gone after the coach with a bat. No reason for a grown man to attack a kid.

You can't die. That would upset the equilibrium in the Cave.

Well the broken collarbone was obviously not a good outcome, but it seemed like everyone was having fun, the coach is a little manlet from the looks of it anyways. He probably shouldn't have lowered his shoulder on the kid, but overall didn't look that bad.

    I kind of agree.

We had a coach in HS do the same thing. He'd throw on a helmet and step into a scrimmage or drill.

That is HS though with 17 and 18 year olds, not 6th or 7th grade with 13 year olds.

It got scary for about 5 minutes in the dugout... Security had to be called and everything.

Re: Coach breaks 13 year old's collarbone

Unfortunate outcome, but not a big deal, but of course we live in a society that if the parent's can get money out of it, they're gonna squeeze every dime out that they can.
