Last night's episode was OK. I was bored on the week prior. Should move along well now.

    Re: Walking Dead

I would enjoy backstory short episodes about other survivor groups and what they were doing differently, what worked, what didn't work, etcetera. Especially if there were some people working on a cure or something.

As an engineer, if I had survived, I would have tried to harness walkers to spin a windmill-type device to generate electricity. Seems like they have endless energy - might as well use it. Especially if you could cut off their arms and jaws like Michonne's slaves.

    Re: Walking Dead

I think the last two episodes have succeeded in making the governor an interesting and dangerous adversary once again. He was getting ridiculous by the end of Season 3 after being a really interesting character for much of the season.

    Re: Walking Dead

Only thing that left my scratching my head after last night was when the Governer and his new family attempted to leave the camp in the middle of the night and they come across a creek bed filled with zombies stuck in the mud. What did that have to do with their ability to leave the camp? The music that played was "dread" type music like it was this huge ordeal.

Anyone else think that was a weird scene?

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

I thought that was a reminder of how many zombies are out there, and that #s would be a good idea.

My first thought was maybe all those walkers were the people of Woodbury he killed in cold blood.

I thought the zombies were stuck in the road. Like a section of the road had collapsed at a low point or stream crossing and all the zombies made the road unpassable, so they had to go back to camp.

Having the roadway blocked allowed two points.

    1) something out there scared the Gov'ner enough to leave.
    2) it forced his hand in becoming the groups leader.

Creating a great stage for the remainder of the season.

EDIT: I agree with how the roadway became a mud pit.

I was kind of thinking the same group that murdered the campers in the woods also placed those walkers in the road.

interesting. could be be.. although very elibirate in what seems to be an efficient group for taking down camps.

    Re: Walking Dead

I decided to read up on the raided camp at a dedicated forum... its here:

    Camp in the Woods

Not a lot in there .... but interesting to read.

Then I found this gem ... its logical .. but also a spoiler. You have been warned.

    Re: Walking Dead

The way the gov stared at those faces/zoomed in on them, I got the sense they meant something to him, but I didnt think it was clear what it was.

As far as other groups, remember those raiders that attacked Rick, Marshall, n Glenn when they were in that bar? I wondered if they would show up again.

I cant remember, in that "gone" camp, I think all the people were gone, or was there bodies/walkers?

IIRC someone mentioned they were stabbed in the head.

My first thought was it was the people that attacked the other camp created road blocks my flooding out the roads to trap them where they were (the entire camp) so they couldn't go anywhere (Yes, I know it was said before I did). Just seemed like a way that would keep the RVs and tank from being able to mobilize because of the dense woods.
