    WWE Night of Champions

Well, it's time for a new thread now that Summerslam is over. It sounds like they want to build up Night of Champions the way they just did for Summerslam to attract more subscribers to the WWE Network. Here is what we got for a card so far, I'll be updating(or at least try to update it) as we get more announced.

Brock Lesnar(c) vs. John Cena, WWE Title

    Re: WWE Night of Champions

The absolute worst thing that could happen is that Cena wins the belt back from Lesnar, thus cheapening the magnitude of their Summerslam match. They can make the NOC rematch a little more balanced between the two of them (maybe Lesnar only delivers 8 German suplexes) but Lesnar needs to come away the clear winner again. They should build him up into an unstable beast (incarnate) going into next year's WrestleMania.

    Re: WWE Night of Champions

Just out of curiosity how many on here pay for the network? Just recently got back into wrestling and I got it right before MITB cause I thought it was a hell of a deal (9.99 for those who haven't heard :) but now I wonder if I'm wasting my money. Seems like a lot of you are getting the PPVs for free so I feel kinda stupid for paying. Is there always a website where you can watch any given PPV for free?

I don't pay. I don't have enough interest to pay especially with Punk gone.

I too hope Cena loses outright. Don't want him even get screwed. I wanna see Brock dominate again.

This one's got run-in or authority screw-job written all over it.

Cena will be wronged and pounded, all at the same time.

I pay for it. the quality of ppv's is unreal with no junk ads. Plus the ability to see every ppv ever done has been fun going down memory road. If it ever goes up from it's current price I would probably cancel.

Good point regarding memory road. Having access to every PPV past and future is definitely worth the 9.99. Thanks for setting me straight!

    Re: WWE Night of Champions

I have the network as well. I signed up the first day it was offered and just re-newed my subscription for the next 6 months for only $9.99 per month. I used to be one of those dealing with online feeds for PPV and with the network can see them all live and on a real tv screen for just $9.99. The past PPV's, original series, classic Raw's and soon Nitro's have allowed me to not only get back into the WWE, but share it with my family for just $9.99 per month. Just an amazing value, I honestly can't believe it's just $9.99.

I also subscribe. It's a great deal for what they offer. It's great going back and watching ECW episodes in order starting from when they turned extreme in 95. Being able to watch the PPV's every month is just icing on the cake. There is so much content on their it's well worth it especially if you have kids.

I don't buy it because I'd end up mad about the horse hockey they're putting out now.

    Re: WWE Night of Champions

I know this isn't directly on point but I have a question about the wwe in Des Moines. My kid wants t go. He's 8. I'm not worried about the violence etc. But it says it starts at 630. Does anyone know if it'll start on time and how long it'll last. It's a school night. I suppose I can look on the cable guide but I'm too lazy for that. Thanks

starts at 6:30 with a couple of dark matches for wwe main event. Raw is live from 7-10:10 ish then there is usually a match after raw goes off the air. so when it's all said the done night usually ends around 10:30.

Since it's live TV, they'll be starting on time. Show usually ends on TV a little after 10.
Probably another match or two for fans in attendance after the TV show ends.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

    Re: WWE Night of Champions

90% of the fans last time left before the dark match after the show, where CM Punk came out, beat the **** out of Paul Heyman, and high fived everyone in the crowd.

Rulzzz, Cash and I left after the beating at around 10:30 and got out pretty quickly, too. People who left right away were probably in the parking lot for awhile afterwards.
