    hmmm. surprises me a little bit with how poorly nebraska played on saturday....but they DID score 40-odd points. We scored 35 against TOLEDO....so i'm thinking that's about right.

    Seems pretty high considering Nebraska has a pretty bad defense.

    I would say it depends on which ISU team shows up to play. Will it be the team that plays good football and doesn't make big mistakes like the team that beat Iowa? Or will it be the team that melts down in the last 5 minutes and blows an 11 point lead against one of the worst teams in the nation?

    If the team that beat Iowa shows up, throw everything out the window. We'd have a shot.

    those big mistakes are the name of the game, if ISU makes fewer or none of them they could easily be 4-0 right now. But from the looks of it the mistakes and inexperience seem to be the norm this year. If that continues then 22.5 is probably pretty close. But if they can be held in check I would not be surprised to see ISU win.

    As hard as it is to say, I think the line is probably a tad low. I was expecting around 27-29. Let's face it, ISU hasn't found itself yet and while NU hasn't either, they have a better chance of showing up after a narrow game against Ball State. I'm guessing that NU will hear all about it this week and will get tired of the talk and show up against ISU. Unfortunately nothing tells us that ISU will show up and it has the potential to be one of the worst losses in ISU history, probably only second to the coming OU game.

    That's my sad opinion. Prove me wrong team!

    I'd take ISU at that line. 22.5 is huge and Nebraska has looked very average the last two games.

    I'll take the Clones and 3 TD's all night. That's a Nebraska team that could easily be 1-3 themselves. Nebraska will win the game, but we are playing well enough to not get blown out. I do wonder how we come out as a team after such a strange loss.

    i think that it will be a more competitive game then the one in jts last year. maybe not on the scoreboard, but they were just toying with us last year.

    Man, you must not have been watching the year the Clones were down by more than 50 at the half at Lincoln. Now that was ugly. I think the final was 77 to 7 or 10. The Huskers 3rd string outscore the Cyclones. Now that was the ugliest ISU game I ever saw. You are right about the OU game, it could be worse because it will be at JTS. I really don't see the Huskers putting 60 on ISU this year, but the 22.5 might be a little low if the Clones have there standard 3 TOs, horrible special teams play and missed kicks.
